How did I manage to design websites

This shift towards website design feels like a natural evolution for me:

📌 a photographer’s trained eye,
📌 a strategic marketing mindset,
📌 digital precision,
📌 and the desire for every project to tell a story — your story.

About me

My name is Maite Menuet, and my journey begins in the Basque Country, in Urrugne, where I grew up surrounded by a love of images, light and creativity. From an early age, I explored analogue photography with enthusiasm, learning in our family darkroom how to develop my very first prints.

After completing a two-year university diploma, I felt the pull of the wider world: first to Scotland, then to Sweden, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Management and a Master’s degree in International Marketing. Those years abroad opened me up to new cultures and new perspectives — which I captured through my camera lens.

My first professional experiences were in communication and marketing in Paris, particularly within the events industry. It was a demanding environment where I developed a strong project mindset, a deep sense of client listening, and a strategic approach.

And then

When I returned to the Basque Country, I deepened my expertise in digital marketing, which led me to work on concrete, online projects with real users.

🌍 The transition to web design became obvious: after years of capturing images and crafting clear messages, I realised that what people often lack online is not just beautiful visuals… but a strong user experience.
